Unity of Roanoke Valley Founders Garden

Founders Garden

Unity of Roanoke Valley was founded in 1971 by the Revs. Alan and Kathryn Rowbotham.

Our church sits on 26 glorious acres that include a labyrinth, playgrounds, walking trails, gardens and picnic area.

Our Mission
We are a vibrant, loving, spiritual community demonstrating Christ consciousness, embracing diversity and inspiring personal transformation.

Our Vision for our World
Centered in God, we celebrate a world of love, peace and abundance for all.

Our Core Values
Being Spirit-led, we value Integrity, Inclusivity, Transformation, Abundance and Love.

The foundation of this church is prayer. Our minister, Rev. Dr. Rick Belous, is available for prayer support, as are our licensed Unity teachers and Unity prayer chaplains. If you need prayer support right now, click here.

Transformational classes and seminars provide many opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship at Unity of Roanoke Valley, and all are welcome to attend. We offer a wide variety of classes and support groups. Check our Calendar for current offerings.

Spiritual Education for our youth and teens is a high priority. Our dedicated volunteer teachers provide an environment in which children of all ages may understand and express their highest spiritual potential. Please visit the Youth Ministry section of our website for more information about our programs.

Spiritual Counseling is available on a love-offering basis with our minister. Spiritual counseling is not advice-giving, but emphasizes the role of prayer and meditation when one is facing specific issues in one’s life. All resolutions come from Spirit within the one seeking counsel. If you would like to make an appointment for spiritual counseling, please call the church at 540-562-2200.

Our office hours are Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
