THE EVOLUTION OF SPIRITUAL CONSCIOUSNESS 

New Class!!

Evolution is important in the world of biology. Many modern thinkers believe that evolution plays a central role in the direction and the path of spirituality.

When we can grasp how this process of spiritual evolution has worked in the past, we can start to get a handle on where new forms of spirituality may be headed. 

The class will be using Birthing A Greater Reality by Rev. Robert Brumet. Rev. Brumet has often been called the Yoda of the Unity movement. The book can be ordered through our bookstore or from Amazon. 

“Evolution in the past mostly has been unconscious evolution. Now we have the possibility of conscious spiritual evolution. This could have a far greater impact on humankind than many other types of suggested solutions,” Rev. Rick adds.

The class is open to all. Since it is via Zoom, you can participate either through your computer or your telephone.

The URV Book Club will meet once a month via Zoom. You can attend by computer or phone. When the pandemic subsides, we will transition to in-person meetings.

Our first book is: How To Pray Without Talking to God, by Rev. Linda Marcella-Whitsett. (You can get copies of the book through Amazon. Remember to use the link on our website so URV gets a portion of what you spend.) 

“This book can really help us face the challenges we are now going through,” Rev. Rick says.

COME TO THE NEW CLASS ON METAPHYSICAL INTERPRETATION  
The pioneers of the Unity movement did not take the Bible literally. Instead they developed powerful ways to interpret the Bible on a metaphysical level. Starting on Wednesday, July 15, at 8:00pm Eastern time, Rev. Dr. Rick Belous will be leading a new Zoom class on METAPHYSICAL INTERPRETATION.

“You do not have to be a minister to do very good metaphysical interpretations. Some of the best metaphysical interpretations I have seen were done by people who never took a class in theology,” Rev. Rick notes. The class will explore the key points of metaphysical interpretation, and then we will apply them to the Bible. However, the class will move beyond the Bible by exploring metaphysical interpretations of books, movies, TV shows, and even comic books. 

The class will be given via Zoom. “The great thing about Zoom, it that you will be able to be a part of this class either through your computer or by dialing in on a telephone,”  Rev.
