An event every month that begins at 11:00 am on day First of the month, repeating until October 4, 2023
Join us for two free guided labyrinth walks on the first Wednesday of the month, April – October!
The first walk is at 7:30am and the second walk is at 11:00am.
The labyrinth at Unity of Roanoke Valley is outdoors, making it easy to practice social distancing.
The Labyrinth is an archetype, a divine imprint, found in many religious traditions around the world. They may take many forms, from mathematically precise stone circles to garden mazes, to temporary chalk designs. The labyrinth is a metaphor for our spiritual journey. Its single meandering path centers the body and calms the mind. The simple act of putting one foot in front of the other is meant to be a meditative practice, for in walking the path of life, the soul opens to its sacred healing and wholeness. By walking the labyrinth, we are rediscovering a long-forgotten mystical tradition.
Love offerings are always welcome to help with the upkeep of the labyrinth. Unless it is raining heavily, the walks will take place. Click here to learn more: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/cu/JKEP094
