Rev. Luz invites you to embark on a spiritual journey of transformation in 2025. The theme for Unity of Roanoke Valley this year is ‘A New Way of Seeing; A New Way of Being.’ Prepare to embark on a yearlong, uplifting voyage towards spiritual growth and enlightenment. On day one of our spiritual voyage, Rev. Luz’s message will inspire you to open your hearts and minds to higher perspectives, shedding old paradigms and embracing the vision within us. Let us together recommit to cultivating a deeper understanding of ourselves, our purpose, and strive to become a greater expression of our true, divine nature.

Our Annual Meeting is after the service at 12:30 pm. This is an important event, where we’ll discuss the highlights of last year, our vision for 2025, and elect new Board members!

Are we living in a world that has forgotten how to play? The adage “The family who plays together stays together” needs to be applied to the family of humanity … NOW! People on the planet are hungry for more joy in their lives and a way to cultivate a healthy play consciousness. We are long overdue for more fun and less stress on an individual, community, and global level. Join guest speaker Rev. Marcia McCartney this Sunday, January 19th, as we learn how playing together promotes inner and outer peace and connection in a world where it is needed like no other time in history. Join us for a transformative experience this Sunday, January 5th, as we participate in Unity’s White Stone Ceremony. This sacred tradition offers an opportunity for personal reflection, renewal, and setting intentions for the new year. Rev. Luz will explain what the white stone represents and how it supports our spiritual growth. You will receive a white stone upon which you will write your New Name for 2025, which Spirit will reveal to you. This ceremony is a favorite for many. Invite friends and family and join us for a wonderful potluck after service.

As the year draws to a close, we invite you to join us this Sunday, December 29th, for our Burning Bowl Ceremony, a powerful service of reflection and renewal. This transformative tradition allows us to release the burdens of the past and embrace a fresh start with open hearts. Through the symbolic act of burning away what no longer serves us, we make space for new blessings and intentions. Come and experience a sacred moment of letting go and welcoming the new as we ignite the flame of hope and renewal together.
